With over 300 days of construction, McDonald’s, the Cutler Bay staple was primed for opening for business.  The Hip Rock Star team was contacted to build the event branding, public relations strategy, identify marketing partners and event management to make this event a success.

 

The challenge was to create an event to celebrate the new look and offerings made available.  The restaurant was remodeled to showcase a one-of-a-kind modern design and enhanced customer experience with self-order kiosks, mobile order and payment, and double drive-thru.

 

Two schools were identified in the Cutler Bay area for Parent Teacher Association Support - Whispering Pines PTA and Cutler Bay PTA.  Each association received a $1,000 donation to assist with their initiatives..

 

The event was attended by  Miami-Dade County Mayor Levine Cava’s Office, Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins, Commissioner Kionne McGhee, Cutler Bay Mayor Tim Meerbott, Cutler Bay Councilwoman Suzy Lord, Cutler Bay City Manager Rafael Casals, Cutler Bay Economic Task Force Chairwoman Jessica Garrett Modkins and DJ Papa Keith.
